It’s 4am –
It’s 4am –
The One that you are, and that everything is,
is eternal and ubiquitous
Are you still seeking that One?
Still doing sadhana?
Still believing you steer your Lifeboat?
Still thinking you make your own choices?
has no preferences
and as the perfect Lover
is infinitely patient.
There’s much ado about ‘conscious choice’ – how we must apply it to our lives to achieve everything from prosperity to enlightenment – how it’s needed to change world events – how it will assist in earth’s transformation or salvation. A huge and profitable industry constellates around this fairytale assumption.
The assumption of a chooser entity with powers of volition is largely non-negotiable. But if you’ve done your homework – dug deeply into research on ‘personal’ volition (Benjamin Libet et al) – sat silently on cushion (thought-tracking) – embraced ‘n’ (now-this-here) with every belief-free breath, then you’ll know the wonder of it:
And measurable ticktocks of time later
responsibility is claimed by a subsequent thought
called dear wee me.
Wideawakeness works like a re-format in the alpha-thinking drive.
Without a trace of volition or doer-ship, tick-tock thinking undergoes transformation.
In the main, that means the withering, unhooking, dissolving of habitude. It means the brain relaxes into its natural state, ever-fresh, ever alert, ever aware.
I call this omega-mind.
Although what wideawakeness reveals is intemporal, in the world of phenomena the effects appear to take time, and like a flower, unfold in their own perfect rhythm.
