you will not be missed

Photograph by Andy Ilachinski

You will not be missed by Life

– you,

a minuscule synapse in Its immeasurable web

of pulsing intelligence.

Yet, if you stumble wideawake into that synaptic self-

less identity – against all odds,

turning away from all cultured data-input –

Life will support you in unimaginable ways

(you will speak of Grace, you will kneel in awe)

as you flow the info-field for the fulfilment

of Its One Uncaused Thought

Make no mistake

you will not be missed by Life, ever.

The nano-speck of measurable matter

known by your good name

will be recycled to beneficent use

in the interest of the

Holy Whole.

You will not be missed by Life

Beloved

because you can never go missing,

even when you pretend to die.

Synapse?

here I is!

326

Earth’s summer breath embraces the coolness of the pre-dawn atmosphere and for an hour or so reveals itself as soft mistiness. Through the big trees camellia blooms are showing pinkly; there’s a tree covered in huge scarlet trumpets and another clothed in a purple so intense it could explode:

Echoes from Emptiness: Jacaranda in full bloom, NSW, Australia

I sees but does not watch

I hears but does not listen

I feels but does not touch

I tastes but does not eat

I smells but does not inhale

I is freedom without the ‘from’

I perceives but doesn’t conceptualize

I has never been born and can never die

I is the still, silent, ubiquitous point at the centre of the spinning world

I has never believed one single belief nor thought one thought nor made one choice

I is amoral, innocent, unconditioned intelligence which has nothing to do with intellect

I is joy without cause

I is love without object

I is what one is
and what all sentient beings are
bottom-line,
fundamental,
I-ness
I-ing

(as the perfect purple of a Jacaranda bloom)

the flowering of creativity

  • intellect

Tends to answer a query or describe a condition with statements – usually absolutes and conclusions.

  • intelligence

Tends to respond to a query with further questions and describe conditions with metaphors, always probing, open, non-conclusive.

  • questions

Seem to be crucial to creative living.  They indicate the presence of beginner’s mind, mind that’s open to new possibilities, willing to explore, experiment, extrapolate in fresh ways, while taking nothing too seriously.

Perhaps the essential requirement of the active dynamic of noumenon – that which seeds its manifestation into phenomena – is a kind of innocent, playful questioning …

Wouldn’t that indicate the necessity of keeping the questions alive and the mind uncluttered with conclusions in order for genuine, unconditioned creativity to flower?

creativity and habit are mutually exclusive

267

Creativity is radical discontinuity in a pattern of thought.
~ David Bohm

 .

Continuity of thought creates tic-toc habitude, linear and time-bound, chugging along like a freight train.

It takes some stopping, and can never be derailed volitionally.

Why?

Because the person who imagines they ‘have’ volition is the freight train incarnate.

What stops it in its tracks?

When tic-toc activity is clearly apperceived, creativity creeps through the cracks of habitude, slams on the brakes and the thinker-thought train is derailed.

.

Genuine creativity is Creation’s non-personal Intelligence in action.

seeing-into sanctity

[This post seems to echo back to clarity comes effortlessly.]

Let’s be clear when speaking about clarity.

Clarity has nothing to do with deductive thought, analysis or memory.  It’s a spontaneous insight without any perceiver.  It isn’t a product of the imagination which draws on the known, or intellect which connects the dots.

Insight means seeing-in, seeing beyond the mind, and it isn’t an experience of any kind because the experiencer (thinker) is absent.  It is a direct knowing on the part of unknowable Knowingness, which subsequently might use thought as a tool, if necessary.

For insight, Knowingness, Awareness – whatever name we give this ineffable Intelligence – is holistic.  It includes everything: thoughts, mind, intellect, feelings, senses.

There is nothing that is not the One no-thing, and seeing-into this Knowingness reveals the sanctity of everything.

clarity comes effortlessly

182

Looking for clarity?
Try turning off the thought machine.
Clarity comes effortlessly when mind
stops its default dot-connecting.

It’s like a rio abajo rio –
a field of intelligence that flows
beneath the river of intellect
and the streams of space and time.

Stop thinking; it bubbles up.

Trouble is, ‘you’ can’t stop thinking
for ‘you’ are the thinking process!

What to do?

Nothing, there’s no way out.
The discovery of this stops thought in its tracks.

Like Grace, all that’s needed for clarity
is space.
