I have (re) turned to face the faceless
and find myself
absorbed
I can write letters from home
but cannot again
depart
don’t look for me in my story
I am not there
nameless
is my unspeakable name
and all stories
happen
in this that I is

“… cannot again depart” – no place to go
– never ever left – but it sure felt like it – !
“I can write letters from home
but cannot again
depart”
This is a passage meditation that I am drawn to again and again…beautiful.
Me too! Thanks for leaving a comment dear Darla.
Amazing blog!
Reading…”Face the faceless and find myself absorved” recalls me the Rumis’s poem:
I have lived on the lip of insanity,
wanting to know reasons,
knocking on a door. It opens.
I’ve been knocking from the inside.
Thanks
Lovely to know you stopped by here Mike… thanks for your comment… and you have shared one of my favorite verses from Rumi – thank you!
